It's official! Your Vanguard 403(b) Services plan’s move to the Ascensus recordkeeping platform is complete. 
You now have access to your plan via the same sponsor site with your existing username and password.

You can expect a smooth migration with minimal action required. Refer to this site—which will be periodically updated as we get closer to November—to view your timeline, as well as additional resources and support.

Learn more about your plan's migration

A communication welcoming you to Ascensus was sent on August 10. It includes important information about the migration from Newport to the Ascensus recordkeeping and administrative services platform. To ensure you're always getting the latest updates, please confirm the correct email address for you is on file.

Review important plan documents

To reflect system changes, we are updating the Newport Trust Company 403(b)(7) Individual and Group Custodial Account Agreements. The Vanguard 403(b) Services Administrative and Recordkeeping Service Description has also been amended. All changes will take effect on the migration date.

You do not need to sign the updated agreements at this time, but we encourage you to carefully review the modified agreements when they are available on your sponsor website. Participants using individual custodial account agreements will be notified of updates to their agreement closer to the migration date.

November 8: Last day for payroll contribution processing prior to migration

All contribution files and deposits made by plan sponsors (wires, ACH, checks) must be received at market close (generally 4:00 p.m. ET) on Wednesday, November 8, 2023.

November 10: Begin migration

Your plan migration will begin and continue throughout the weekend.

Week of November 13: Complete migration

We anticipate the blackout period to end and trading activity and account updates to resume during the week of November 13, 2023.
